Former NFL star Terrell Owens spent three hours banging on a woman's door early Friday morning and refused to leave her property, according to a TMZ report.

The woman called the Los Angeles Police Department, who arrived on the scene at 4:30 a.m. and told Owens to leave, the report states. Owens left without being arrested.

The woman "made clear" to Owens that he was not welcome, but "was not afraid for her safety," law enforcement sources told TMZ. Owens has yet to respond to the website's request for comment.

The 39-year-old six-time Pro Bowler has endured a number of personal problems since he last played in an NFL game in 2010, including financial and legal troubles. A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2011 after he failed to pay child support and appear in court.
