Ex-49ers safety Dashon Goldson agrees to terms with Bucs

Dashon Goldson, the 49ers' Pro Bowl safety is changing teams and coasts. Goldson has come to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a five-year contract according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

The Bucs courted Goldson early, flying him to Tampa with the intent of making the 5-year veteran the anchor of what was the NFL's worst pass defense in 2012. He reportedly was looking for a lucrative deal worth up to $8 million per season

Goldson was the 49ers' fourth-round pick in 2007 and became a full-time starter in 2009. He was selected tot he 2011 and 2012 Pro Bowls.
