New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes is still recovering from a Lisfranc injury suffered last season and could start training camp on the physically unable to perform list, reports the New York Daily News.

Holmes was injured in Week 4 and finished the year with 20 receptions for 262 yards and one touchdown.

“Of course Santonio, we’ll see...he’s doing a decent job but we’ll see how he is for training camp,” said Jets head coach Rex Ryan. “There’s a possibility maybe he starts out on PUP, I’m not sure. Seems to be doing well.”

The injury are starting to crop up for the Jets as not only Hill missed team drills on Wednesday, but also receivers Stephen Hill, Jeremy Kerley and Clyde Gates all did not participate.

Hill said he had a little bit of swelling and fluid in his knee.

"It’s not bad, they just want to make sure that there’s no swelling later on during training camp," Hill said.
