The NFL is looking into selling eight Thursday night games a year to an outside network, according to ProFootballTalk.
The deal, which would begin in the 2015 or 2016 season, would be worth around $700 million a year to the league, which would still keep eight of the weeknight games for its own NFL Network, where they now air.
