The Denver Broncos have signed veteran safety Michael Huff, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold.

The Broncos needed help at safety after Rahim Moore had surgery to repair a left leg injury sustained during the team's victory over the Chiefs on Sunday. Several players worked out for the Broncos, including Huff, who was cut earlier this season by the Ravens.

The Broncos are expected to start Mike Adams at free safety until Moore returns and to keep Huff on as a backup.
