New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz will not play in Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, the team announced Thursday.

Cruz suffered a concussion and sprained knee when he went up to grab a pass from quarterback Eli Manning and landed on his head in the team's 23-0 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

He finished with two catches for 25 yards in the game and has not practiced this week because of the injuries.
