Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien has agreed to an interview with the Houston Texans, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
According to the report, O'Brien and the team agreed to have an interview after Christmas, which means it's already happened or it will happen in the future.
O'Brien, who was a former New England Patriots offensive coordinator, agreed to a reduced buyout at Penn State from $19.33 million last year to $6.48 million.
O'Brien's buyout to leave for another school is $11.08 million. O'Brien is 15-9 in two seasons at Penn State.

The Texans have already reportedly interview former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith for the position. The Texas fired Gary Kubiak earlier this month after the team started 2-11 this season.
