Broncos WR Wes Welker cleared to play after concussion

Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker has been cleared to play after missing the team's final three games due to a concussion, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

Welker suffered the concussion in the team's Dec. 8 game against the Tennessee Titans and had not practiced with the team until the end of last week.

The Broncos have a bye in the first round of the playoffs, so Welker will not return to game action until Jan. 12.
