The New York Jets are keeping Rex Ryan and are willing to extend his contract through 2015.
According to Kim Jones and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jets are open to extending Ryan's contract, which expires in 2014. Ryan is reportedly "resigned" to getting just a one year extension.
Jets owner Woody Johnson announced Sunday that Ryan would keep his job for the 2014 season. Ryan is 46-40 as the Jets' head coach, including postseason games.
