Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe cleared to play in Wild Card game vs. Colts

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been cleared to play in Saturday's wild-card playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts after sustaining a concussion.

Bowe was injured two weeks ago in the 23-7 loss to the Colts after he was hit in the neck area by Colts safety LaRon Landry.

He was later diagnosed with a concussion and sat out last week's overtime loss against the San Diego Chargers, along with most of the Chiefs starters.

''I'm fine, you know. Just had a little minor headache,'' Bowe said via the Associated Press. ''I didn't feel as bad as some guys felt. I just felt tired. So I got some rest and I'm ready to go.''

Bowe caught 57 passes for 673 yards and five touchdowns this season for the Chiefs.

''I'm just ready to go,'' Bowe said. ''Big-time players want to make big-time plays in big-time games. These are the games you have to show up. Everything on the line.''
