Kansas City CB Brandon Flowers evaluated for possible concussion

By the fourth quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs had three players evaluated for a possible concussion during Saturday's playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Flowers remained down on the field for several minutes after sustaining the possible concussion, with his return for the remainder of the game questionable.

Jamaal Charles was the first Chiefs player to be ruled out with a concussion on Saturday. He went down on Kansas City's opening drive, and the Chiefs used Knile Davis in his place.

Davis had a four-yard touchdown run at the end of the second quarter, and a 10-yard touchdown reception early in the third quarter. Charles' replacement didn't last long, though. Davis was carted off in the fourth quarter with a knee injury, leaving the Chiefs without their top two running backs.

Donnie Avery was also ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's game with a concussion. He made an impact before getting hurt, with his one catch of the day going for a 79-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.
