Falcons WR Roddy White arrested for allegedly failing to appear in court

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was arrested Tuesday on charges that he failed to appear in court in March to address allegations that he was driving with illegally tinted windows.

According to the Associated Press report, the 32-year-old was booked in a Georgia jail early Tuesday morning and was released approximately an hour later after posting a $168 bond.

The Falcons released a statement saying the organization expects the issue "will be resolved shortly," according to the AP report.

Selected in the first-round by the Falcons in 2005, White recorded 63 catches for 711 yards and three touchdowns last season for the 4-12 Falcons.
