Bears sign WR Brandon Marshall to a 3-year, $30 million extension

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall announced he had agreed to a three-year, $30 million extension with the team on Monday while appearing on ABC's The View.

Marshall was traded to the Bears in 2012 from the Miami Dolphins and has caught 218 passes and 23 touchdowns since rejoining with his Denver Broncos teammate Jay Cutler in Chicago. Last season, he caught 100 passes for 1,295 yards and scored 12 touchdowns.

Marshall also announced that he would be donating $1 million to The Mental Health Community as part of his efforts to increase mental health awareness.
