The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed third baseman Juan Uribe on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain, the team announced Wednesday.

Uribe reinjured the hamstring in the ninth inning of Tuesday’s game while legging out his 11th double of the season. He missed five games earlier this month with strain of the same hamstring.

He was hitting .303 with four home runs and 18 RBI in 40 games this season.

The Dodgers have recalled infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena from Double-A Chattanooga to provide depth in the infield.
