Report: Redskins TE Jordan Reed admits to hiding concussion

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed admitted this week to hiding a concussion last season even before he officially suffered one against the Eagles that kept him out the final six games of the season, according to ProFootballTalk.com's Mike Florio's citation of an interview Reed recently gave with David Elfin of The SportsXchange.
The 23-year-old rookie out of Florida said he suffered a concussion two weeks prior to the one he had vs. the Eagles that knocked him out for the season. He said the first concussion only compounded the pain he experienced against Philadelphia:
“I think I had had a concussion two weeks before, but I didn’t tell nobody so when I took a shot to the side of my head against the Eagles it made it worse. I was in a bad spot for a long time. I didn’t know if they would ever go away, but I’m past it now.”
He recently said the concussion that put him out for the season was simply a "fluke thing," according to a report in the Washington Times.
Reed finished his rookie campaign with 45 receptions and three receiving TDs for 499 yards.
