Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is set to return to action in October after missing 10 months following the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to BBC Sport.

Walcott sustained the injury in January, and it was originally thought that he would miss six months.

On Arsenal's website, manager Arsène Wenger said Walcott "is doing very well" and should be available for full training after the international break.

Arsenal plays Hull City in its first game after the break on Oct. 18. They are in fourth place in the Barclays Premier League with two wins, three draws and no losses.

Walcott is also a member of England's national team. He missed the 2014 World Cup due to the ACL tear.
