Scott Oldham will be the referee on Saturday as Sunderland take on Luton Town at the Stadium of Light.

Oldham will be joined by Philip Dermott and Mark Stevens as his assistants, as well as Stephen Martin as the fourth official.

The Lancashire-born official has made 198 appearances across the EFL and all domestic competitions, but this Saturday will be Oldham's first appearance in the Championship.

Since starting his professional career during the 2010/11 season in the Premier Reserve League, Oldham has gone on to make a total of 243 appearances, all the way from the National League to the League One.

Across the two leagues, Oldham has officiated 159 matches and has become an established referee in the third and fourth tier.

Much to Sunderland's delight, Grant Leadbitter converted from 12 yards with 10 minutes left to play, and Sunderland went on to win the game 1-0.
