Andy Murray's dogs, two border terriers named Maggie May and Rusty, are minor celebrities thanks to their famous owner and their very own Twitter account, @maggiemay_hem. I could go on and assume that the account is run by Andy's girlfriend, Kim Sears, but I prefer to imagine Maggie May as simply a talented taker of self-portraits who happens to own a BarkBerry.

A month ago, after Murray lost the Wimbledon final to Roger Federer, Maggie May tweeted this gem of irreverence.

Yes, indeed, those are cupcakes with Maggie's and Rusty's likeness, carefully arranged on the Wimbledon runner-up platter.

Flash forward four weeks and methinks the dogs got an upgrade.
