BREAKING: Ondre Evans Flips Commitment to Georgia
Since the start of the 2023 college football season, action on the recruiting trail has simmered down a little bit for Georgia. A lot of that has to do with the Bulldogs having the majority of their class locked in prior to the start of the season, but as we have come to know, Georgia never stops recruiting. 2024 defensive back Ondre Evans has announced he is flipping his commitment from LSU to Georgia.
Evans is from the state of Tennessee and initially committed to the Tigers in June of this year. He is rated as a top 15 cornerback in this year's class and the second-best player in the state of Tennessee, according to 247 Composite Rankings.
The Tennessee native becomes the 27th member of Georgia's top-ranked recruiting class. He also is the third defensive back to join the Bulldogs' class alongside Ellis Robinson, one of the highest-rated players in the entire country.
