2024 Defensive Linemen Aydin Breland Commits to Oregon Football
Dan Lanning and his defensive staff are in a better mood this morning as they get ready to take on the number seven team in the country, the Washington Huskies. 6’ 5” defensive linemen Aydin Breland is part of the reason the Oregon Ducks are in a good mood this morning as he has announced his intentions to play college football there.
Breland chooses the Ducks over the Miami Hurricanes and the Georgia Bulldogs. Lanning currently has the 13th-best class for 2024 and has spent most of his scholarships on defensive talent to help shut down the perennial offensive firepower in the Big Ten, which they will join in 2024.
Breland is the type of player who could make an immediate impact on a program when he steps foot on campus. The 6’ 5” 290 lb linemen can virtually play anywhere on the d-line that you place him. Breland is also one of the top discus throwers, with a personal record over 180-feet, he is able to show off the explosiveness in his hands and the agility on his feet.
Though Georgia hasn’t been as hot on the recruiting trail like they were over the summer, the Dawgs are still landing elite prospects, such as Bo Walker. Today, they will prepare to move to 7-0 against the Vanderbilt Commodores at Noon ET, televised on CBS.
