Wait, did Dolphins coach Adam Gase once call C.J. Anderson fat?

Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase may have had some harsh words for C.J. Anderson in the past.

Restricted free-agent running back C.J. Anderson reportedly signed an offer sheet with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.

Will he end up joining the Dolphins? Or will the Broncos match the offer? Well, Extra Mustard can’t answer those questions. But we’re more interested in if new Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase once called Anderson fat.

Gase, if you don’t recall, was the Broncos’ offensive coordinator two seasons ago. And, well, it looks like Gase called Anderson fat.

Anderson is listed at 5'8", 224 pounds. I really hope that doesn’t qualify as fat.
