Red Sox manager John Farrell shuts down heckler during game: ‘Shut your ass up’
John Farrell was having none of this heckler’s nonsense.
The Red Sox clinched the American League East after the Blue Jays lost on Thursday, meaning most of the team’s regulars would get the day off on Friday at Yankee Stadium after a long night of celebrating.
One fan didn’t quite grasp this concept, and decided to yell at team manager John Farrell during the game about his decision to play the “B–team.” His response? “Shut your ass up.”
If you’re going to yell at the manager while he’s trying to manage, come with something better than that. You think he’s gonna play a hungover Mookie Betts for better seeding? What a weak heckler.
