Meet Handsome Dan the 18th
This will not be a long edition of Hot Clicks. I've been fighting a bad cold all week and just want to get back in bed. But since the show must go on, I'm going to start by concentrating on something positive. Yale introduced its new mascot, the eighteenth Handsome Dan, who follows in the university's long line of Olde English Bulldog mascots. Random fact: Handsome Dan IX appeared on the 1956 cover of SI.

Cam Newton wore really ugly cleats, Luke Kuechly was carted off the field with a scary injury and the Panthers held off the Saints in a 23-20 victory.
Important Kate Upton-Justin Verlander Update
Just one day after Kate Upton's epic/awesome Twitter rant about Justin Verlander not winning the Cy Young Award, the couple traveled to Italy and visited The Vatican. I hope they made time to read all the awesome replies to Upton's tweet.
