Montana State linebacker Mac Bignell delivered the biggest hit of the college football season on Thursday night. Watch him destroy Fort Lewis running back P.J. Hall, who should make his quarterback buy him Chipotle every day for a year for leaving him out to dry like this:
It Wasn't Pretty
College football returned in all its glory on Thursday night. All three of the marquee opening night games—Utah-Michigan, TCU-Minnesota and North Carolina-South Carolina—were very sloppy, with the Utes, Horned Frogs and Gamecocks ultimately prevailing in mistake-filled games
But the off-the-field exploits reminded us why the sport is the best. From Ohio State receiver Mike Thomas and running back Ezekiel Elliott trolling the Wolverines (Utah also trolled Jim Harbaugh, with giant cutouts of Alex Smith's head) to Golden Gophers fans actually grilling frogs before the game in Minneapolis, it was generally a wonderful evening.
One of the few depressing moments of Friday night? Arizona All-America linebacker Scooby Wright injured his knee early in the Wildcats' win over Texas-San Antonio.
