Four-star TE Martavious Collins predicted to commit to Auburn
Four-star tight end Martavious Collins might be on his way down to the Plains soon.
Collins, a 6-foot-3, 240 pound ATH out of Rome High School (Rome, Georgia) was originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, but decommitted on February 6th.
Now he's in the mix for the Tigers as well as several other schools - Georgia, USC, Louisville, among others.
Auburn Live's (On3) Jeffrey Lee has placed an expert prediction for Martavious Collins to commit to the Tigers on Wednesday afternoon.
Lee's confidence level in his prediction is 55%.
With current tight ends Luke Deal, Tyler Fromm, Brandon Frazier, and Rivaldo Fairweather all graduating, Auburn may be looking to sign multiple tight ends in the upcoming 2024 recruiting class.
Hugh Freeze and his staff already have three commitments - four-star cornerbacks Jayden Lewis and A'Mon Lane as well as four-star quarterback Walker White.
It may be a while before Collins decides to commit anywhere, but the Tigers are laying the groundwork now by getting him on campus in the near future.
