The Auburn Tigers improved to 8-2 tonight after beating the Alabama State Hornets 94-37 at home inside Neville Arena.

Auburn has won its last five games and continues to look better as non-conference play moves along.

What are the biggest takeaways from Auburn's dominant performance?

Honesty Scott-Grayson dominated once again

Auburn's veteran guard from Brick, New Jersey had yet another great performance.

Scott-Grayson led Auburn in scoring with 24 points, shot 10-16 from the field and 2-3 from 3-point range and grabbed five rebounds.

Scott-Grayson adds a veteran presence that is so beneficial for Auburn and that will continue to be a difference-maker once conference play begins.

3-point shooting continues to be a struggle for Auburn

Auburn shot 4-14 or 28.6 percent from 3-point range.

That number is about on par with what the team has been putting up as of late. The Tigers have been able to compensate by putting an extra emphasis on getting the ball inside, but that might not be a sustainable formula in conference play.

Taylen Collins continues to be a great addition

One of the best moves Auburn made this offseason was landing forward Taylen Collins in the transfer portal and she continues to impress.

Collins scored 17 points and grabbed four rebounds. Her presence down-low is something that Auburn did not have last season.

What's next?

Auburn will be back in action at home on Saturday when it takes on Norfolk State. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and the broadcast can be found on SEC Network+.
