Auburn 2023 NFL Combine Recap

How did the former Auburn Tigers fare in the NFL Scouting Combine?

The 2023 NFL Combine has wrapped up, leaving us with school pro workouts and mock drafts until April 27th, when Roger Goodell takes the stage to a chorus of boos to announce they first overall pick.

Somewhere in that weekend, Auburn fans will hear some familiar names called to the podium. The Tigers will be well represented after giving scouts a chance to look at some of the Plains top talent.

Here's some notable results from the Combine

Tank Bigsby, RB: Cadillac's protégé showed he's NFL ready, running a 4.56-second 40-yard dash, 32.5-inch vertical jump and 9-foot and an 11-inch broad jump.

Derick Hall, Edge: Auburn's top prospect ran for a 4.55-second 40-yard dash, 33.5-inch vertical jump and 10-foot, 7-inch broad jump (third place at the edge position).

Colby Wooden, Edge: Scouts were impressed by his 4.79-second 40-yard dash, 9-foot, 7-inch broad jump and 4.52-second shuttle run.

Owen Pappoe, LB: The Freak showed why he earned the nickname, with a 4.39-second 40-yard dash (best among linebackers), 35.5-inch vertical jump and 10-foot, 6-inch broad jump and 23 bench press reps.

Eku Leota and Anders Carlson were also present, but did not partake in any drills and only interviewed.
