Five Stock Fallers From Auburn's Loss to Alabama

In this story:
That was one of the most insane endings to a football game we have ever seen.
The Tigers just lost the Iron Bowl 27-24 in the most unbelievable fashion. A 4th-and-31 touchdown pass from Jalen Milroe to Isaiah Bond gave Alabama the lead with less than a minute left.
There aren't enough words to describe the emotions that were left inside Jordan-Hare Stadium last night.
Here are five stock fallers from the Tigers' loss.
Koy Moore
We are still not entirely sure what happened with Koy Moore being subbed in to field that punt at the end of the game over Keionte Scott, who also wears No. 0 for the Tigers.
Regardless, Moore dropped a game-altering punt return that gave Alabama the chance to score the game-winning touchdown.
Giving up a touchdown on 4th-and-31 is harder to believe than a muffed punt - which happens from time to time - but it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a negative
Zion Puckett
Puckett struggled against Alabama and has struggled all season. He's given up the most passing touchdowns, the second-most yards, the most yards per reception, the most yards after the catch, and has the lowest coverage grade (57.7) of any Auburn secondary player that has been on the field for more than 26 snaps this season.
He just hasn't gotten the job done.
DJ James
James and Pritchett combined to blow coverage on a 68-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Milroe. James also gave up the go-ahead touchdown to Isaiah Bond on 4th-and-31.
While DJ had a pair of nice pass breakups, he broke down on two pivotal plays. He's an NFL corner, no doubt. The Iron Bowl just wasn't his best game because of some unfortunate mishaps... some of which he couldn't control, some of which were just simply him being put in bad situations.
Dillon Wade/Izavion Miller
Wade had a PFF grade of 43.4 and a pass blocking grade of 14.9.
Holy cow, that is low.
If you think that is low, take a look at Izavion Miller's grades:
35.0 overall grade, and a 0.0 pass block grade on 23 passing snaps.
The Auburn Faithful
This one just hurts. The 2021 Iron Bowl stung... but this one hurts in a way that game could never reach.
It's disappointing.
