BREAKING: Payton Thorne runs out with the first group at fall camp
Fall camp is here, which means the most pressing question has finally been answered.
The first quarterback to jog out for reps was Payton Thorne.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise, but Robby Ashford is not out of this race quite yet.
Both of these quarterbacks have different skill sets, but Coach Freeze believes they can both win football games for Auburn this season.
It will be interesting to see who wins the job when fall camp comes to an end, and Auburn gets ready to host UMass on September 2nd, but Thorne has a lead at this point.
