FanDuel Sportsbook has released Auburn's projected win total

Check out Auburn's projected win total from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Auburn is heading into year two under Head Coach Hugh Freeze who looking to take this program to the next level.

Auburn went 6-7 last season after finishing up the year with a loss to the Maryland Terrapins in the Music City Bowl. In Hugh Freeze's first season on the Plains, he was focused on recruiting the 2024 and 2025 high school classes, so he wasn't all that involved in the offensive game plan.

This led to Auburn's offense being underwhelming in 2023. Coach Freeze made a lot of changes to his coaching staff that he feels really good about. He brought in DJ Durkin from Texas A&M to be the defensive coordinator and Derrick Nix from Ole Miss to be the offensive coordinator.

Coach Freeze had this to say about Nix, "It's a comfort level to have D Nix and Kent in that room knowing that the verbiage and communication and everything will be things that I understand clearly. I can add value to when I need to. D Nix is one of the best recruiters, best men, best football coaches I have been around. Good to reunite with him."

Freeze had this to say about his new DC Durkin, "John Coen has been so supportive, but I told him "John, I got to take my time, I got to get this right" Freeze said. "There was so much interest in it from people I really like. I loved his interview. I loved the time we spent with him and his wife, Sarah. They're great individuals and people that will add so much experience to our building and defense, so I'm really excited to have DJ."

Coach Freeze likes his young roster, which is why FanDuel Sportsbook gave the Auburn Tigers a preseason projected win total of 7.5.

Auburn has a challenging but manageable schedule that, if all goes to plan, they could hit the over on this 7.5-win total thanks to all of the young talent on the roster.
