Auburn is pushing hard after five-star receiver Perry Thompson who is currently committed to Alabama.
Thompson was on the Plains recently for an official visit, and Coach Freeze pulled out all the tricks.
Freeze got Thompson in contact with Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf who Freeze recruited and coached at Ole Miss.
Metcalf is one of the best receivers in the NFL, so this was a great recruiting tool by Freeze to try and flip Thompson.
Freeze has coached some talented offensive weapons during his time as a college coach, so what better way to try and land a five-star receiver than saying here, I coached Metcalf, and he's a Pro Bowl wideout.
Coach Freeze has been crazy on the recruiting trail, and it seems like it will all pay off soon.
Hopefully, this video call with Metcalf will get Thompson to flip his commitment from Tuscaloosa to Auburn and play for Coach Freeze.
