How To Watch Auburn Baseball In The Jax College Baseball Classic
The Auburn Tigers will look to stay undefeated on the young season as they head to Jacksonville, Florida for the Jax College Baseball Classic.
Butch Thompson's Tigers are 4-0 entering the weekend and are joined in the field by No. 10 Virginia (1-0), No. 18 Iowa (3-1) and Wichita State (2-1), and the team’s scheduled at 121 Financial Ballpark.
“We’re seeing these (games) as opportunities and trying to make the most of them,” Thompson said via a release. “Going on the road and playing two top-20 teams is going to be something good for us. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Auburn is outscoring its opponent 39-10 through four games this season. The Tigers have allowed two or fewer runs in three straight games, and the team’s 1.85 ERA is good for third in the SEC and ninth in the country.
