Baylor Bears men’s basketball team slated to host Kansas Jayhawks on Monday, Jan. 23 on ESPN

The No. 17 Baylor Bears men’s basketball team returns home to the Ferrell Center to host the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks on Monday, Jan. 23, as the Bears have won four straight conference games after starting the season 0-3 in Big 12 play.

Monday's Big 12 matchup between the Bears and Jayhawks is slated to tip off at 8 p.m. Central Time and will be televised on ESPN.

Baylor (14-5, 4-3 Big 12) is 4-1 over the last five games, dropping an overtime thriller to No. 7 Kansas State on Jan. 7 before winning four straight – including victories against West Virginia on Jan. 11, Oklahoma State on Jan. 14, Texas Tech on Jan. 17 and Oklahoma on Jan. 21.

Kansas (16-3, 5-2 Big 12), meanwhile, is 3-2 over the last five games, with wins over West Virginia, Oklahoma and No. 12 Iowa State prior to dropping the last two contests – an overtime loss at No. 7 Kansas State on Jan. 17 and a blowout home loss to No. 11 TCU on Jan. 21.

The Bears are currently led in scoring by guard Keyonte George (17.4 points per game), rebounding by forward Jalen Bridges (5.5 per game) and assists by guard Adam Flagler (5.3 per game).

Jayhawks forward Jalen Wilson leads Kansas in scoring (21.3 points per game) and rebounding (8.8 per game) while guard Dajuan Harris Jr. leads in assists (6.6 per game).
