Baylor MBB Picked To Represent USA at GLOBL JAM in Toronto

The Baylor Bears men's basketball team will represent the United States in the GLOBL JAM international tournament this summer in Toronto, Canada, per a release from the university.
The tournament, which features a field of Under-23 athletes, will take place from July 5-10 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.
The field is set to be represented by teams from four different countries, with the United States, Brazil, Italy, and Canada all participating in the event.
"We are so honored to have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the United States in international competition," Baylor Coach Scott Drew Said. "This will be a terrific event with great teams from across the globe, and we are grateful to Canada Basketball and the NABC for making this tournament a reality."
There will also be a women's field in the event. However, instead of the Baylor women's team, Virginia Commonwealth will be representing the USA. Canada, Belgium and France and the United States will compete in the women's field.
"The NABC is committed to growing the game of basketball on a global scale, and we're excited to collaborate with Canada Basketball, the WBCA, Baylor and VCU for the inaugural GLOBL JAM," said Craig Robinson, NABC Executive Director. "This new event will provide our sport with an impactful summer platform and offer a unique international competition experience for student-athletes and coaches alike."
