How to Watch, Listen, Stream Baylor vs. Texas Tech

The Baylor Bears will continue their 2022 season on Saturday evening against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Here is how to watch and listen.

Baylor is preparing for the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Big 12 Conference action on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. central at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.

The Bears (4-3, 2-2 in Big 12) are coming off a 35-23 win over the Kansas Jayhawks that was much closer than the score indicates. The Bears did have a big lead, 28-3, at one point. But Kansas closed to within five points before the Bears put the game away with a late touchdown.

In doing so the Bears kept themselves on the outside of the race for the Big 12 Championship Game, which Baylor won last year. The same could be said for the Red Raiders (4-3, 2-2). Both are tied for third place in the Big 12 right now. The winner will remain in that tie, as Texas also has two losses. But, the winner will get some company. The two teams tied for second place with one league loss — Oklahoma State and Kansas State — play each other on Saturday.

The game marks a reunion between Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire and Baylor coach Dave Aranda. McGuire was working for Aranda as an assistant coach when he interviewed for the Texas Tech job. He was hired during the season and left Waco to get things started in Lubbock. Aranda kept McGuire on staff after the departure of Matt Rhule to take over the Carolina Panthers. Rhule is now out of work, having been fired by the Panthers earlier this month.
