Just two weeks into the season and the #9 ranked Baylor Bears are already getting a stiff road test in front of a sell-out crowd in Provo against #21 BYU.

Both teams are 1-0, with the Bears rolling over Albany in Week 1 69-10 and the Cougars cruising against former Bears quarterback Gerry Bohanon and the USF Bulls, 50-21.

The Bears lead the all-time series 2-1, with a win at Floyd Casey Stadium all the way back in 1983 and winning again in Waco in 2021, 38-24. Both quarterbacks had stellar starts to the year, with both BYU's Jaren Hall and Baylor's Blake Shapen both completing more than 75% of their passes and two touchdown passes each in the opening week victories.
