Eagles Make Top Six For '21 5 Star Terrence Carter

Boston College Basketball continues to be involved with some heavy duty recruits. Earlier this week they landed Justin Vander Baan, a local seven footer, connected with the Mass Rivals AAU squad. This weekend they are also hosting 4* guard Demarr Langford, brother of transfer Makai Ashton-Langford. But today they got even bigger news as '21 Brewster Hoops star Terrence Carter placed the Eagles on his Top 6. According to Rivals, he is the #2 recruit in the country:

Carter, a shooting guard has offers from almost every major school in the country. As mentioned in his tweet, he could take the ACT/SATs and graduate early and enroll at his school in 2020. While he has a huge list, and obviously those other schools he listed usually crush BC for recruits, he also has only visited two programs Kentucky and BC. Maybe he is the type of kid that wants to stay closer to home.
I don't know what BC has done to change their recruiting strategy, but their recent swing of getting involved with blue chip recruits is encouraging. We always knew that Scott Spinelli was a dynamic recruiter, but recently he has kicked it up a notch. Of course BC is going to need to close in on some of these players and get them to campus, and 2020 and 2021 are a long ways away.
