NBA Draft 2019: Ky Bowman Goes Undrafted

Boston College guard Ky Bowman did not get the news he was hoping for last night as he ended up going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. As I mentioned yesterday most of the mock drafts didn't have Bowman getting drafted, but there was considerable rumblings that he may land on a team at the end of the second round. However, it was not to be, as no team decided to take a chance on the BC guard who averaged 19.0 points and 7.5 boards a game last year.
I know a lot will be made of Bowman's decision to leave school early to pursue an NBA career, and I think he still made the right decision. Unlike football, prospects in the NBA only lose value as they continue to mature and age, there probably would be no chance that he would have made the draft next year either.
Now the waiting begins for Bowman. Will a team sign him to a developmental deal? Will he end up in Europe? Keep visiting BC Maven and we will keep you up to date
