Boston College already have scheduled a handful of out of conference games for the 2020 season. Earlier this week it was announced that they would be facing off with the South Florida Bulls at the Yuengling Center this year, and on the road next year. Last season Richmond struggled, finishing the season 13-20, along with going 6-12 in the A-10. Richmond is still coached by Chris Mooney, who has been at the helm since '05-06 and has amassed a 250-215 record with the Spiders.
This is certainly not a marquee matchup for the Eagles, but the school's are starting to create a history against one another. In December of 2017, Boston College defeated Richmond 78-73 in overtime, led by Jordan Chatman, who hit 7 three pointers in the game. And of course Boston College football is facing Richmond this season as well (which probably won't be much of a game).
