Vin Baker Jr. Transfers To Milwaukee

Vin Baker Jr. entered the transfer portal about a month ago, and today it was announced where he will continue his college career. According to reports on Twitter (and RT'd by VBJ), the guard is heading to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Baker Jr. was a solid role player his freshman year in 2017-18 when he played in 29 games, averaging 7 minutes per game averaging 1.9 points per pame, while going 8-40 from beyond the arc. His sophomore year, he saw his game minutes decrease drastically playing in just 12 games, while maintaining the same PPG. Clearly his role on the team was limited, and looking at this season it didn't appear it would be changing.
Milwaukee makes all the sense in the world for VBJ, as his father is an assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA, keeping the family close. UWM struggled as a program last year, going 9-22 including getting clobbered by BC 73-53 in Chestnut Hill.
Good luck in the future Vin.
