BYU Offers '23 DB Smith Snowden

Smith Snowden is the son of former BYU RB, Will Snowden

BYU football offered 2023 defensive back Smith Snowden on Saturday. This offer had been in the works for the past couple weeks. Snowden is an up and coming prospect out of Lehi, Utah. Smith is the son of former BYU Running Back, Will Snowden. Smith has already received an offer from Weber State and he is hearing from Washington State, Utah State, Utah, Idaho State, and Southern Utah.

Coach Gilford is Snowden's primary recruiter - BYU likes Snowden's speed, work ethic, and technique. Smith has the capability of becoming one of the top recruits in the state of Utah by the time he graduates.

Smith has great feet and advanced technique for a player heading into his Sophmore season. I expect him to earn a variety of offers by the time he graduates.

Smith is a still couple years away from signing day but BYU is currently in a good position as the first FBS team to offer a scholarship.

Smith's father, Will Snowden, played for BYU from 1996 - 2000. In his career at BYU, he ran for 203 yards on 51 rushing attempts. (BYU Athletics) Will is the founder of Alpha Recruits which is a recruiting service that connects football prospects with football coaches.
