BREAKING: 4-Star QB Air Noland Announces His Decision

Air Noland, the No. 7 quarterback in the class of 2024, has made his decision. During a ceremony broadcasted on 247's YouTube, Noland chose Ohio State from among a group of seven teams that included Clemson, Ohio State, and Oregon.
The 6-foot-3 left-handed quarterback won the state championship in Georgia with his Langston Hughes team in 2022. The offense he runs in high school features a good amount of RPOs and play action, two things that Ohio State head coach Ryan Day uses at an extremely high level. The Buckeyes have had success with quarterbacks from the Atlanta area before. Justin Fields (Harrison, Georgia) took Ohio State to back-to-back appearances in the College Football Playoff in 2019 and 2020.
For Clemson, this now puts them at 0-4 for quarterback prospects in 2024. The Tigers should be set for the next couple of seasons with Cade Klubnik under center and Christopher Vizzina joining in the 2023 class, but it certainly hurts to have missed on this many quarterback prospects. There's still a ton of time left in this recruiting cycle, and obviously, the Transfer Portal has changed things, but Clemson needs to put the pedal down soon.
