In this story:

The Clemson Tigers are looking to get back into National Championship contention during the upcoming 2024 college football season. Dabo Swinney and company are fresh off of a couple of down years, but the future of the program looks very bright thanks to top-notch recruiting.

Looking ahead to the upcoming 2025 recruiting class, the Tigers have done a great job once again. They are currently ranked the No. 5 recruiting class in the nation.

One of the key pieces of the 2025 recruiting class is four-star tight end Logan Brooking. Hailing from Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Georgia, Brooking will be a key piece of the future on the offensive side of the football.

Standing in at 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds, Brooking is an intimidating presence at the tight end position. His big body and skill-set will allow him to create major mismatches each and every week.

As of right now, he is the No. 20 ranked tight end in the nation. He has big goals of blowing that projection out of the water with his play on the field.

Evan Massey of All Clemson on SI had a chance to chat with Brooking about many different topics in an exclusive interview.

First up, Brooking revealed why he chose to commit to the Tigers instead of the rest of the teams that showed interest in him.

"It honestly just felt different than all the other places I’ve been. You could really tell they care about you there and not only want you to be the best football player, but also the best man possible."

He then went on to talk about how much of an impact playing for Swinney had on his decision.

"He is a legendary coach who has created a great culture, so he played a huge part in me wanting to commit to Clemson."

If you haven't had a chance to watch Brooking play, he was happy to give a brief breakdown of what he brings to the field.

"I personally feel like I’m an every down tight end. With my high school scheme I play everywhere, in the box, slot and split out wide. I also think I have an edge to me in the blocking game just because of how much I love doing it."

We then talked about an NFL tight end that he has tried to emulate his game after.

"I would say George Kittle. He does just about everything from the tight end position."

Brooking opened up about one big strength and one key weakness that he has at this point in his football career.

"I would say one of my strengths is physicality while playing the game. An area I could improve is my footwork."

Looking ahead to the future, Brooking is excited to help bring back championship contention to Clemson. After a couple of tough years, this is music to Tigers' fans ears.

"First of all, I want our team to be successful. I think we have a serious shot at a national championship. Personally I want to be the best tight end to ever come to Clemson."

Fans who like getting to know players away from the game will learn a bit about Brooking from our next question. We asked him about who he is off the field.

"I would describe myself as a person who loves God. I not only want to see myself be successful but I also want to see my teammates be successful too."

To any young football players with dreams of playing high D-1 in college, Brooking was willing to offer some advice.

"Work as hard as you can and focus on yourself. Don’t focus on the outside noise like rankings and what everyone else thinks about you. All that matters is what you do to make yourself better every day. "

Finally, Brooking sent out a message to Clemson fans everywhere. He's ready to get to town and help turn the Tigers back around.

"Clemson fans better be prepared because this '25 class is coming together and it looks good. We are coming for that national championship! "

Everything about Logan Brooking is exactly what Clemson fans like to see. He's a hard worker, a winner, and has the drive to compete. Those are all things that embody Tigers' football.

We can't wait to see Brooking on the field. He's got big-time potential and it's clear that he's proud to be a part of the Clemson football program.
