Scheduled to begin at 11 am:

Opening Statement:

- Excited to get back going on the road...North Carolina is a team that is 2-2, but could easily be 4-0

- They are multiple in what they do...are not afraid to play man coverage, they are confident in what they do there

- On the offensive side, they are talented and have had 34 explosive plays this season...compares Sam Howell to Baker Mayfield

- I think this is the best group of backs we've seen...

-They push it down the field. They are not afraid to catch it, cock it and push it down the field

-This is my 17th year and only my second trip there, back in 2010 was probably my worst coaching job

- Blake Vinson is out for the year, as the Tigers decided to go ahead and do surgery

Last trip to Chapel Hill:

I just didn't have them ready...

On the redshirt rule:

- Swinney believes that they have a few guys that they want to hold but have not played in four games yet.

Trend in CFB for freshmen quarterbacks:

Dabo thinks it is a combination of players leaving and not "sticking around" and the development of players in 7-on-7

Dabo on Sam Howell:

He's gritty, savvy, moxie, everything that we liked about him...

Dabo on similarities between Clemson now and Texas in 09:

Consistency...great quarterbacks, great defenses...but there are probably more differences than similarities

Dabo on Jackson Carmen

He's an unbelievable singer, like a capture the room kind of voice, plays piano and guitar...he surfs. You should see him behind the boat when he flips that board around.

I remember when I first met him, very talented, but just immature...not in a bad way, but just had some maturing to do.

Dabo says that Justyn Ross is good-to-go

He looked great last night, just his gate and everything
