Deion Sanders proudly represents HBCU, says he's not a 'Nole

In this story:
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are preparing for his FBS debut in four days down in Fort Worth. He gave his next-to-final thoughts about the big matchup with TCU and even set a reporter straight on his HBCU pedigree.
Coach Prime brought his two of his Hall-of-Fame friends on campus recently with Michael Irvin and Warren Sapp, both swinging by Colorado. He was called out for being a Florida State Seminoles alumni by KUSA reporter Arielle Orsuto, which caused a quick correction to the statement.
“I’ve got to check you, though, because those Hall of Famers were all Hurricanes like myself, and you’re a Nole my friend,” Orsuto said.
Sanders stopped her and asked if anyone knew where he had graduated from. Uncle Neely from Thee Pregame Show said Talladega College.
“I graduated from an HBCU, so I’m still a who?” Sanders said in response.
“I’m a who? I thought it was where you graduated from, isn’t it?"
Sanders graduated from Talladega College in 2020. He went back to school to finish his degree after being denied the job at Florida State, according to a report by The Athletic.
The Hall-of-Famer took the head coaching job at Jackson State shortly after being rejected. Sanders reportedly blew away FSU officials in the interview, but they cited a lack of education and experience for not offering him the job. A major loss for Prime former school.
