Colorado's Travis Hunter stayed overnight in the hospital after suffering a lacerated liver in Saturday's win over Colorado State.

Hunter was hit by CSU defensive back Henry Blackburn before falling to the ground in obvious pain late in the first quarter. He returned to the game before leaving for the hospital at halftime.

The two-way star was expected to miss a few weeks, according to coach Deion Sanders. He addressed Hunter's conditions late in his postgame press conference. Coach Prime also said there would be an update out in the coming days. We now know the Buffs will be without Hunter for at least three weeks.

The news is a major blow for the Buffaloes going into the Pac-12 portion of the schedule. Hunter was a factor to CU's early success with a breakout game to open the season at TCU. The Jackson State transfer caught two passes for 21 yards against CSU.

No. 19 Colorado faces No. 10 Oregon on Saturday. A 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff from Autzen Stadium on ABC.
