Burnt shirt freshman report: Week Two

Three more true freshmen got their first playing experience Saturday, against NC A&T, and if David Cutcliffe’s enthusiasm is any indication, we may be seeing more soon.
“I’m really thrilled with that entire class,” Cutcliffe said. “Take a snapshot of what that class accomplished tonight. Jaylen Coleman with the ball and his track speed. Those receivers listen to Quentin (Harris). He’s their guy. He’s their mentor. Obviously, (coach) Trooper Taylor has done a great job at getting them there. We are just touching the iceberg at receiver.”
Here's a look at who played and who didn't. We'll keep track of which freshmen exceed the four-game redshirt limit all season long.
