The gothic-script Duke football helmets (with the style borrowed from the Duke basketball jerseys that honor "The Brotherhood" of Blue Devils) debuted this season. The results have been mixed.

First, the Blue Devils wore the blue-lettering white version in their upset win at home over then-No. 9 Clemson in Week 1. Then, they donned the white-lettering blue version in their last-minute home loss to then-No. 11 Notre Dame when ESPN's College GameDay made its first-ever trip to Durham for football three weeks ago.

In other words, the helmets appear reserved for special occasions. And that is precisely what's in store for the Blue Devils in Tallahassee on Saturday as No. 16 Duke looks to shock the world again in primetime by defeating No. 4 Florida State for the first time in its 22 all-time tries in the series.

Duke football's account posted this week's jersey reveal on Thursday night, this time featuring the blue-gothic-script white helmet (same as in the Clemson game) but with white road jerseys, dubbing it the "Iced out" look.

Here are pics of junior running back Jaquez Moore from the jersey reveal:

And here's the creative video reveal, including snowflakes to enhance the "icy" theme:
