Montverde Academy (Fla.) senior and prime Duke basketball target Cooper Flagg kicks off his official visits with a trip to reigning national champion UConn beginning Friday. Then the 6-foot-9, 200-pound phenom heads to Kansas the first weekend in October before checking out the Blue Devils two weeks later.

Thus far, Flagg, No. 1 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, hasn't scheduled any other visits. Some believe he won't and instead announce his decision before the early signing period in November.

As for which school looks like the frontrunner, the consensus is Duke.

Furthermore, judging by a "Trilly Donovan" post on Friday morning, the Blue Devils might have only Kansas to worry about. One of his followers asked whether UConn fans should have any hope about Cooper Flagg, to which the renowned incognito insider responded with a GIF of Jim from The Office shaking his head "no":

Of course, that alone doesn't mean the Huskies have zero chance to land Flagg, an admitted lifelong Duke basketball fan. But remember that the overriding reason for the popularity of "Trilly Donovan" is that his intel rarely turns out to be wrong.

Meanwhile, the Blue Devils continue to be the favorite in the eyes of all six 247Sports Crystal Ball experts who have entered a prediction for the oh-so-important Flagg race.

As things stand, the addition of Flagg — or any other of the handful of undecided 2024 prospects holding a Duke offer — would move head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff past rival UNC for the top spot on 247Sports' 2024 class rankings.

Duke's 2024 haul consists of three commits: Paul VI Catholic (Va.) four-star small forward Darren Harris, North Meck (N.C.) five-star small forward Isaiah Evans, and Wisconsin Lutheran five-star small forward Kon Knueppel.
