BREAKING: Forward Osayi Osifo commits to Florida

6’8" JUCO power forward from Eastern Florida, Osayi Osifo, has committed to coach Mike White and the Florida Gators, per Corey Bender of Gators Territory.

This commitment comes exactly 10 days after UF offered him, per his Twitter account:
The forward averaged 4.4 points per game on 61.5 percent shooting. He only averaged eight minutes per game, but grabbed almost four rebounds in those limited minutes (3.9).
This is UF’s first commitment in the 2020 class, following a loaded 2019 class featuring Scottie Lewis and Tre Mann. The Gators only get Kerry Blackshear Jr. for this season, as he is a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech, so this commitment helps UF replace his size in the frontcourt afterward.
